Data Scientist Intern

I collaborated within a three-member team to develop an application focused on media coverage of Indigenous people.
My responsibilities included proficiently utilizing web scraping techniques to gather data from diverse news websites, performing sentiment analysis to gauge media sentiment, and enhancing the acquired data with additional context as needed.
I also contributed to data preprocessing, visualization, and project management, ensuring the successful delivery of a comprehensive and impactful solution that shed light on the portrayal of Indigenous communities in the media.
